Self-initiated workshops and study trips are a very important part of the MFA program at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (NAA). NAAs trip to Sudan 29th February to 6th March 2012 was made in collaboration with a student in his last year of the program, Mohamed Ali Fadlabi. Fadlabi, as he is now known, was born and raised in Sudan until he left and eventually obtained citizenship in Norway.
