Part of the petroleum co-operation between Sudan and Norway is to build capacity through seminars and workshops. An important added value is confidence building and establishment of networks between participants from North and South in Sudan.
07/01/2007 :: The Norwegian foundation PETRAD, together with the Petroleum Training Center in Khartoum, organized a Top Management Workshop in Khartoum from November 25-27.
The workshop was attended by approximately 40 participants, equally divided between representatives from the North and South of Sudan. Norwegian presentations focused on the Norwegian experience in developing a petroleum policy and an oil industry, with a view to what might be of relevance to the Sudanese situation.
